The Black Heobeok, created in collaboration with Jeju ceramic artist Kim Kyung-chan, is inspired by the traditional Jise Heobeok, fired in Jeju's black stone kilns known as geomungul. The Black Heobeok serves as both a tea cup and a wine cup, allowing one to appreciate the form of Jeju's heobeok. It comes in two distinct patterns and exhibits a deep blue hue in reality. This blue tone is the result of volcanic ash clay reacting to intense heat, capturing the flow of fire.
