The Mass Crayon reproduces the form of artist Chung Hyun’s new work, “Mass.” Observing the process where crayons are shaped under intense heat and cooled into solid forms, we reflect on the message the artist seeks to convey through Mass. We hope that this small, robust object we’ve created becomes a meaningful mass that embodies the spirit of artist Chung Hyun and the ability to contain something profound.
